About Me

I am an amateur photographer that lives in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. I have been doing wildlife and nature photography for about five years.

My husband was transferred with his job in Feb of 2005. When he told me we were moving to the mountains (from rural Saskatchewan) the first thing I did was buy a good digital camera. Who lives in the mountains and doesn’t take pictures? From the first shot I was hooked.

Since moving here I have quadded to places that I never expected to ever be able to see, hiked into God’s country, sat amongst Mountain Goats while their babies ran around us, been in the middle of herds of Bighorn Sheep, admired Grizzly Bears from up close and have seen the most amazing scenery. You can’t live in a place like this and not capture the amazing memories to share with others.

That is the reason for this blog. I want to share the amazing things that I have done with others and hope that you will get some kind of enjoyment out of my photos.

I live in Grande Cache, Alberta in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and this is my adventure!!!!
